Stratford Rugby Club's bonfire and fireworks night is in its own diary for Sunday 1 November, 5pm to 9pm. The blurb under that date still says 2025.
Stratford Rugby Club’s bonfire and fireworks night, the town’s main display, is listed in the club’s own events diary for Sunday 1 November 2026, 5pm to 9pm. It is at Pearcecroft, Loxley Road, CV37 7DP.
That date comes from the club’s events page, which carries the entry “Rugby Club Bonfire & Fireworks Night” with a start date of Sun 1 Nov 2026 and times of 17:00 to 21:00.
One caveat, and it matters if you are reading the listing yourself. The description printed under that date still says “1st November 2025”. It is last year’s copy, and last year’s display was actually on Sunday 2 November 2025, per the club’s own Ticketebo booking page, which now reads “This event has ended”. So the date field is this year’s and the paragraph beneath it is not.
Bonfire night falls on a Thursday
5 November 2026 is a Thursday. The rugby club display sits four days before it, on the Sunday. That is the club’s usual habit: it ran on Sunday 2 November in 2025 and on Sunday 5 November in 2023.
What the club has published, and what it has not
From the club’s own material, the running order in past years has been consistent:

Those times are from the 2025 booking page and the club’s 2023 announcement. The 2026 listing gives only 5pm to 9pm, which is consistent with them.
Not published for 2026:
- prices. In 2025 tickets were sold in advance through Ticketebo and entry was also payable at the gate. The 2023 notice says the gate takes cash or card. The club has put no 2026 prices anywhere we can find, so ignore any figure you see quoted second hand until the club posts its own.

- the road closure, which in past years has been put in place around the club
The club calls the event “widely known as the best show in town” and lists a bonfire, a fireworks display, food stalls, mulled wine and fairground rides.
Parking is the part to plan
The club is blunt about this. Its 2025 notice says parking at the ground “is reserved for disabled badge holders” and that road closures are in place around the club, so plan your journey and parking in advance. It also says a public car park off site was opened by the council for the night.
Pearcecroft is on Loxley Road, on the eastern edge of Stratford on the way out towards Loxley. The district council’s town car parks are the realistic fallback, and every one of them is a walk away. Tariffs are on our Stratford parking page, and the overnight rate, 4pm to 8am, is £3.50.
No closure order for the display appears yet on the council’s list of road closures, which was last updated on 17 March 2026 and carries only markets for the rest of the year. That list covers events the district council administers, so a Warwickshire County Council order for Loxley Road would not necessarily appear on it. Anywhere else in the district?
We could not find a published 2026 date for an organised display in Alcester, Bidford-on-Avon, Henley-in-Arden, Shipston-on-Stour, Southam, Studley or Wellesbourne. The district council’s road closure list has no bonfire night entry for any of them, and none of the towns has advertised one. If your village runs a display and it is not here, tell us and we will add it.
That leaves the rugby club as the only bonfire night event in this district with a date in public on 3 September.
What to watch for
The club’s prices and ticket link are the outstanding items, and on last year’s timing they are due in October. This page will be updated when they appear, and again if the club corrects the 2025 text under its 2026 date.
